Privacy Policy
Summary: AI-RID turns a photo of your room into an interior design image. We do not require an account, we do not collect your name, email or phone number, we show no ads and we use no tracking tools. The photo you pick is uploaded to our server and sent to an AI provider to generate the result; it is kept until you ask us to delete it. Full details below.
1. Who operates the app
AI-RID (Android and iOS: com.trs.ai.room.design.interior.decor.maker.rid) is operated
by an individual developer based in Vietnam (“we”, “us”).
This policy covers the AI-RID app on Android and iOS, and the server that handles the app’s requests.
2. Data we process
| Data | Purpose | Where / how long |
|---|---|---|
| The room photo you choose or take (camera / photo library) and the AI-generated result image | Generate the design image and show the result back to you | Our server; kept until you request deletion |
| What you enter: request description, room type, design style, intervention level | Produce a design that matches your request | Our server; kept until you request deletion |
A random app installation identifier (installationId) and device credential generated by the app |
Let your device reach only its own designs and apply usage limits | Operating-system secure storage on your device; the server-side device record is kept until you request deletion — the minimum that remains afterwards is described in section 5 |
| IP address and technical request data (time, request type, outcome) | Abuse prevention, rate limiting, operations and troubleshooting | Our server; rate-limit counters and registration de-duplication records are pruned automatically after roughly 90 days |
That identifier is a random string generated by the app — not an advertising ID (IDFA/GAID), not a serial number or IMEI, and it is not used to track you across other apps.
3. What we do not collect
- No account: no name, email address, phone number or password.
- No access to contacts, messages, location, microphone or biometric data.
- No advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools.
- We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it to serve ads.
- We do not use your photos to train AI models; the AI provider may process data under its own policy (section 4).
The app requests only two permissions — camera and photo library — so you can pick the room photo to redesign.
4. Sharing with third parties
We share data only to the minimum extent needed for the app to work:
- AI image provider (Civitai): receives your room photo and request description to generate the design image. Data may be processed outside Vietnam.
- Server hosting provider: stores our images and server data under a service agreement.
- Cloudflare: carries network requests and hosts this policy page; Cloudflare processes IP addresses under its own policy.
- Competent authorities: only on a lawful written request.
We never sell personal data. Provider policies:
5. Retention
- Photos and designs: kept until you request deletion in the app or by email. There is currently no time-based automatic deletion.
- IP address, rate-limit counters and device registration de-duplication records: pruned automatically once older than roughly 90 days (configurable). Pruning runs in batches when the server handles a request, so a record may survive slightly longer than 90 days — this is not a per-record hard deletion deadline.
- Technical logs: short-lived, for operations only; they do not contain your image content.
Data kept after deletion
When deletion completes we remove uploaded photos, result images, designs, processing jobs/reservations and legacy login credentials (if any). A minimal set of records remains:
- Device identity record (installation identifier and hashed credential): kept so the device stays recognised and to prevent usage limits from being recreated. It is no longer linked to your photos or designs; you can ask us to delete this record too by email.
- Profile “deleted” state and the deletion receipt (request id, timestamps, state): kept as evidence that the request was handled and to prevent deleted data from being recreated.
6. Your rights and how deletion works
Deletion runs in three steps, and you need to complete the steps shown in the app:
- Submit the request on the “Delete data” screen in the app (or by email).
- Confirm so the system blocks new designs for your device.
- Complete the deletion: the system removes uploaded photos, result images, designs and related processing records (the minimal records that remain are described in section 5).
Submitting the request and then leaving the app does not delete the data — finish the steps above or email us and we will do it for you. Request status is shown in the app, and “received” does not mean “deleted”.
- You may also request access to, or correction of, your data.
- Under Vietnam’s Decree 13/2023/ND-CP, deletion requests should be carried out within 72 hours; we aim to meet that target and will tell you by email if more time is needed.
- You can withdraw consent at any time by stopping use, uninstalling the app and requesting deletion.
- If you are not satisfied, you may complain to your local personal-data protection authority.
7. Security
All traffic between the app and our server uses HTTPS. Device credentials live in the operating system’s secure storage, never in plain text. The server applies rate limits and returns a design only to the device that created it; there is no public gallery. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we collect to a minimum.
8. Children
AI-RID is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by local law (for example 16 in some countries). We do not knowingly collect children’s data. If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Photos of people and private spaces
You are responsible for having the right to use any photo you upload, including consent from people appearing in it. Do not upload images that infringe others’ rights or contain unlawful content.
10. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the effective date at the top. Material changes to how we handle data are announced in the app before they take effect. The current version always lives at this URL.
